Possible bug? zmprov isn't working

Hey!

I have an ubuntu 8.04 32bit install. I have the FQDN, IPs etc set up. zmcontrol status returns that all services are running. I run this in vserver so I had to edit the config files and replace the 127.0.0.1 to the IP address of the real ethernet interface. After restarting zimbra it still seem to work according to zmcontrol.
Edit: Also ldap status returns the pid of ldap.

However zmprov gas doesn't return anything. It just sits there and does nothing. What can be the possible reasons for that?

have you tried specifying the server to use with the -s switch? you might also want to use the verbose and debug switches too and post that (-v and -d respectively)

-v returns nothing...
-d returns an xml like request, I suppose, but no response... It seems that it's like dead?

One thing that I noticed... When installing the documents cannot be initilized. What services are needed to initialize the documents?

I would recommend checking your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki after you have performed a stop/start via zmcontrol.

Please update your profile aswell so we know which version of ZCS you are running
