CLI for # of zimbra active Web client, administrator and IMAP sessions

Hi Folks,

Is there a CLI for finding out the # of active Web client, administrator and IMAP sessions that are displayed in Admin console

or

preferably a way to see these numbers graphically over a period of time.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

zmjava com.zimbra.common.soap.SoapCommandUtil got revamped as zmsoap in 5.0.7

zmsoap -z -v DumpSessionsRequest

zmsoap -z -v -e DumpSessionsRequest @groupByAccount=1 @listSessions=1

(Realize that POP connections end fast/aren't the same concept of 'session' in the sence that we use the word for web-client, admin, and IMAP.)

Thanks for the info on the zmsoap command. I put together a perl script to summarize this info thusly. No arguments needed, and it's safe:

WebGUI: 3 usera@zimbra.example.com
WebGUI: 2 userb@zimbra.example.com
---------------------------------------------
WebGUI Total: 5

etc. Same for IMAP, admin, and synclistener.

I had to remove the -e from the zmsoap line to get it to work in 7.1.4.

I agree, nice work .

There is a small time lag when users disconnect: users sessions still show up in although they have logged out. This seems to come from the zmsoap command which still sees the session as active. Not an important issue though.
