Default [SOLVED] Yet another "Customizing Login Screen"

I have gone through the license and other threads, cant seem to quiet understand it.

Would be grateful if somebody cleared thing out.

We are using Zimbra zcs open source edition 5.0.9_GA, every thing is set and we are ready to deploy it at our university.

I have the following in mind, kindly let me know if I am allowed to do so.

    1) add our logo to the login page in addition to Zimbra logo and all zimbra credits, (this is to avoid confusion & chaos among our users)

    2) Place additional web buttons on the login page like,
our own flash tutorial for using zimbra,
    flash player setup,
our own pdf document for using zimbra,
    terms of service

    3) Place a scrolling notice.

    3) Modify any theme and add our university logo (note: I wont move the zimbra logo from its place).

    thanks.

Since you are using the Open Source edition, you won't be able to rebrand Zimbra to what you're wanting to do (legally that is). The Network Edition of Zimbra allows for rebranding, and has instructions available on what needs to be done.

According to Rebranding - Zimbra :: Wiki as long as the logos and credits remain in place it should not be a issue. According to adex's post all logos and credits will remain in place, and they shall just be adding their university logo (plus some additional buttons).

    Wait ..

How about we just replace the logo Zimbra.
I never touch the folder Zimbra again. A few my knowledge just around using command prompt only. I want to search the destination Zimbra logo then replace that with another logo. The naming of logo still same.

    How about my solution?

As an Open Source user you may not remove or modify the Zimbra logo and you must continue to display it.
