[SOLVED] IMAP Proxy not working after upgrade to 5.0.9

Hello,

We were running 5.0.5 in a multi-server environment with no problems for a while. Recently, after upgrading to 5.0.9, clients connected to imap proxy complained that they could not access mailboxes (Web Client is OK).

Nginx.log shows that nginx is accepting connections but apparently not proxying to maiboxes servers. When users connect directly to mailbox server, everything works well. I've also tryied to telnet mailboxes from Proxy machine and it was able to connect to ports 143, 7071, 7072.

Does nginx "forwards" correctly with other protocols like http(s)?

You should also check the nginx conf files, especially the imap one : the upstream servers should appear there.

We have just solved the problem. We give a try changing "zimbraReverseProxyLookupTarget" property of all mailbox servers to TRUE and it works really nice. Now nginx conf files are created correctly.

Maybe something during the installation process made this property FALSE.
