DNS Zones and Zimbra Directory Services

Hello:

I wan't to install Zimbra on my ubuntu server, I read that Zimbra has his own LDAP Server for directory services and I want to use BIND9 with BIND-SDB-LDAP modification for load the zone info from the Zimbra LDAP server and use Zimbra Admin UI to manage the DNS zones.

Is there a zimlet, schema, etc to do that??

Note: Before installing Zimbra, there will be a basic BIND9 configuration for installation purpose, then I want to use the ZimbraLDAP for user auth, Samba Domain Controller and every application (including web based ones) that will be developing in the future.

i've never seen a zimlet to admin this. you could possibly extended teh zimbra openldap install to support this, but its probably a bad idea it might break when you upgrade zimbra.

bdial, when I upgrade to other Zimbra version it will lost the previos data on the LDAP, or what do you mean with break when I upgrade Zimbra??

i mean if you extend the schema to support the bind data theres no guaruntee that zimbra won't remove your schema or something when you upgrade it.

Ok, I understand that, but googling a little I found a "zimlet" for managing Samba and posix groups using Zimbra Admin. Each zimlet apparently has its own .schema file and a .zip file for install the zimlet itself.

Then I'm searching an option like the above ones, or at least, If is possible to make my own zimlet to manage the dns zones data.
