Default Send e-mail, from exterial account.

Hi,

I have user, what import his own gmail account into zimbra mail account.

He can download mails from gmail directly into his own mailbox in Zimbra.

We can say he is, John@gmail.com
On my server, have: John@mydomain.com

Someone send email, to john@gmail.com
user retrive mail... open it, send reply, select john@gmail.com account.
And write something, and send it...

On another computer, person who read reply, have in FROM john@mydomain.com :/

It, is possible to put there jogh@gmail.com ?
Any idea... i think gmail have avabile remote SMTP server, why not log into john@gmail account and send mail throught his mailbox ?

Any idea...

Default

I assume you are using the web interface

Create a persona with the gmail.com address - you will also need to "enable send from any email address" from the admin console. The user should then be able to select which person to reply to an email from. default could be @domain.com with the option of the @gmail.com
