    Default Adding params to main.cf

    Hello,
I would like to add some customization to main.cf file. But as i understood from forum it gets overwritten every time Zimbra restarts.
Is there a way to set standard postfix params (ie always_bcc and others) permanently into that file? Or maybe with the help of some other interface?

    Thx much in advance.

    Default

We've actually tried to make this a lot more friendly. In later versions (I think this is in the last build) we only set certain main.cf parameters, and they're all controlled either by zmlocalconfig keys (zmlocalconfig | grep postfix) or ldap attrs (check the docs).

Nothing else you change will be overwritten, and we no longer ship a main.cf file (we rely on the defaults that are compiled in). What you change via postconf -e won't be overwritten UNLESS it's managed via zmlocalconfig or ldap - and if you want those to change them, change them with the zimbra tools.
