    Default softdelete

    Hi all,

I'm just wondering if zcs has something like a softdelete.. That when a user deletes some mails or something, en emptys his trash you can recover it..
I presume it would involve a mechanism that does not delete the objects from the sql but just flags them to be deleted. It would be cool to have an option to set an amount of days to keep the softdelete , like say 14 days orso , and that a process would be started every night to do the housekeeping and delete the "deleted items" older that the previously defined 14 days..

I'm using the community edition, but haven't found this option so far..

I'm sure this function will be added at some point and I'm sure some users will benefit from it, but I have to say I'm more of a fan of learn not to delete mails you want to keep !

I tell our users not to delete anything anyway.

thank you verry much for the pointer. Interresting thread. I'm curious where the discussion will lead. I think it would be a verry nice feature to have that much other packages allready have on board.

Looking forward to the 5.0.9 release to see what improvements you've guys made.

    greets
