Default Multi Language support

I see a flurry of activity in the language forum, from what I have been able to gather you are required to change the language setting on your browser for this to work. While this is a no brainer for folks in Spain wanting spanish, it's not a good solution for us here in the US. Is there a plan in the works to offer a user setting for language options or a drop down menu in the login page?

Thanks

To date we've not implemented this. Seems reasonable please file a request via bugzilla.
