connection refused port 7025 - what is this?

hello,
I started getting this error today. I've rebooted the server just in case but still no luck. What does this mean?
I see the connection refused port 7025.
Any ideas on where to start trouble-shooting?

You would appear to have no A record for your mail server and you need one, check the report here: Quick Check - Pingability.com

Can you telnet to port 7025 and do you get a response? Which operating system is this?

hi,
we do have an A-record on DNS.
I'm also able to telnet to port 7025 on server.

I found a solution on the zimbra wiki for this.
We're running on sles10. I fixed this by making an alias IP address using our public IP address.

He has given the naswer how he solved it, however that is not the correct solution. How about actually posting some information about your exact problem with details of your Zimbra version & release, the status of all your Zimbra services, what errors you see in the log files and the output of all the commands in the 'Verify....' section of the Split DNS article?
