    Default Send message to all post office users?

    Is there a way for a user to send a message to all post office users without selecting them from the address book? We have 600+ users...

    make a distribution list that contains everyone. you could probably do it wtih a few lines of scripting using the command line utilities.

    I believe you are wanting a distribution list to be created with all post office users as members to the list.

    Is there any solution?

    I wrote a script:
    Code:
    import os

    listusers = os.popen("/opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov -l gaa", "r").readlines()
    for user in listusers:
            os.popen("/opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov adlm all@domain.tld " + user)
    But it's working too slow, almost unusable.

    you have the right idea. your script calls zmprov for each user though, which is why it's so slow (i assume you have a lot of users)

    see this page for idea on how to improve the speed

    batch processing zimbra commands Flylife!
