Zimbra not sending mail to MX record - A record instead?

It's OK to have an A record pointing to the domain name. They don't have A records pointing to mx1 and mx2 which is where there MX records are pointing.

I just resolved the same issue.

The enable DNS lookups was checked in the global settings. But it was NOT checked in the server settings. The server used its settings over the globals. All troubleshooting on the console returned the global settings. The only way to tell was to re-check the zimbra Admin UI.
