Quicker than what? Which version of Zimbra? Search the forums and wiki before posting questions to see what's available or if you question has been answered (it has).

It would help people to give you a better answer if, when you post, you include details of what you're trying to do; what you've already tried; what worked and what didn't work; which version of zimbra you're using (update your profile with the output of 'zmcontrol -v') and any other relevant information you can think of rather than just a 'fix this for me' type of question.

    hi phoenix

    my version is

    Release 5.0.6_GA_2313.openSUSE_10.2_20080522133539 openSUSE_10.2 FOSS edition

i saw your link. i followed that but it is very time consuming even if there is just 3 users -- this is my test zimbra server.

my real zimbra server's size is -- 100GB , so i think it may take much more time. for that i have to stop my zimbra server for long time.

    so how to resolve this.

is there any way to solve this

Please don't keep posting this information the the thread. Update your forum user profile with the information so everybody knows the release and version you're running.

That's something you'll have to live with for the Open Source version. Did you also search the forums, there are some other backup scripts available.

If you want to backup your system when Zimbra is running then purchase the Network Edition which has a full backup solution. These subjects have been covered many times in the forums, why don't you search the forums and to find what you need?
