    Default Statistics Do Not Function

Hello, I am having a problem with Zimbra's statistic feature. I am no longer receiving statistic updates since the update to 5.0.8 from 5.0.4 in which I used this temporary 'fix' to make statistics work. However, I have not done this again since the bug was already reported and fixed (Bug #26766). For clarification, I receive daily email reports that tell me "No messages found" and the graphs on the Zimbra Administration Console are also showing "no data" since it stopped working (5.0.8 update). The logger mysql server is up and running fine. Also, there aren't any errors found in the .err file corresponding to the logger mysql server process. For that matter, I don't see any errors anywhere that I'm aware of. Finally, according to zmcontrol, everything is classed as 'running'. So, does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks as always =).

The first thing I would for would be crashed tables in the logger mysql database. Logger - Zimbra :: Wiki

It seems as though I cannot repair the raw_logs. But that seems to be the problem...even though it doesn't show up on the logs. (.err and .log)

    +------------------------+--------+----------+---------------------------------+
    | Table | Op | Msg_type | Msg_text |
    +------------------------+--------+----------+---------------------------------+
    | zimbra_logger.raw_logs | repair | error | 22 for record at pos 1794158928 |
    | zimbra_logger.raw_logs | repair | status | Operation failed |
    +------------------------+--------+----------+---------------------------------+
2 rows in set (48 min 54.85 sec)

    Suggestions?

    Thanks .

We did the upgrade from 5.0.4 to 5.0.8 this weekend and now we're getting the same thing.. I'll let you know what I find out.

Any findings? I haven't been able to get any stats for the past month . So, it would be really helpful to find a solution.

    Thanks again .

Yes, we didn't get to it until later last week and I forgot. After the upgrade our zimbraLogHostname property was wrong. We just had to change it back to the right host and re-run all the statistics scripts manually.

    y@w,

Thanks for the reply. However, I checked the zimbraLogHostname and it was correct. Which leads me to believe it's definitely a corrupt table. So, what are my options if REPAIR TABLE doesn't work? On the Logger page of the Zimbra Wiki, it seems to 'stop' there in terms of suggestions. So, does anyone have any further suggestions? Maybe add it to the wiki?

    Thanks, as always =).

The only thing that I could think of is just to drop the raw_logs table and recreate it. Your stats are probably already lost.. Anyone else?

    Did you try:

    REPAIR TABLE raw_logs USE_FRM;

It's from Repair Logger Data Corruption - Zimbra :: Wiki

Worked from me when the table wouldn't repair. Repaired the table (stats still don't work though...) BTW, you might want to check all the other tables as well. All of mine were corrupted, not just that one.
