want to disable zimbra map search facility.

Using zcs 5.0.5 open source edition.

I want to remove zimlet's Yahoo Map Search button, which is providing "map search" facility same like google earth.I want to disable it for all zimbra mail users to save my mail bandwidth as well as to decrease mail server load.

Please suggest what to do.

Disable the com_zimbra_maps & com_zimbra_local zimlets.

I have disabled "com_zimbra_local" from zimlets. I have executed "toggle status" button,by right clicking the :com_zimbra_local" button.

2nd thing,I don't have "com_zimbra_maps" in zimlets.Below is my list of zimlets.

com_zimbra_date
com_zimbra_local
com_zimbra_email
com_zimbra_phone
com_zimbra_url

Now,tell me out of this,which is concerned to disable "com_zimbra_maps"?

The Yahoo Maps & Yahoo Local are 2 different zimlets - both have mapping/navigation features.
It looks like you've never installed com_zimbra_maps, so there's no other action for you to take as you don't want them anyways.

What you've listed is the default zimlets, those are under /opt/zimbra/zimlets.
There's also other cool stuff under:
/opt/zimbra/zimlets-extra
/opt/zimbra/zimlets-experimental

Say you wanted to install those:
zmzimletctl deploy com_zimbra_name.zip
Then go enable for other COS's besided 'default'.
