Default iPhone remote wipe

Page 7 of Apples Enterprise Deployment documentation, available here: http://support.apple.com/manuals/en_...ment_Guide.pdf explains how to initiate a remote wipe using the admin tools for MS Exchange.

Fair enough, but what if you are using Zimbra instead?

So, is there any way to start a remote wipe procedure for those of us planning to use iPhones with Zimbra in the enterprise?

Thanks.

I've found some info on remote wiping other devices in accordance with the activesync protocol over here: You Had Me At EHLO... : Exchange 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) Remote Wipe functionality

I'm starting to think that Zimbra will need a zimlet to plug into the admin console in order to manage the iPhones correctly. That's what exchange seems to offer for it's mobile devices, so a similar tool should be possible in the Zimbra world ?

[EDIT]
Looks like Kerio mail server already support this How to configure iPhone Exchange ActiveSync® | Kerio Support Center

Ok, I've logged a bug for this here:
Bug 30356 - Remote wipe function required for iPhone and others

Although someone already asked for this last year: Bug 18424 - Remote device wipe for windows mobile devices

I hope noone loses their device before this function is added to ZCS.
