Mailto

I have read several articles on mailto and zimbra, but I have not seen where anybody actually has it working with Excel or such as an attachment.

Can anyone confirm this?

To the best of my knowlege, that won't work. I think you need an actual MAPI-compliant client for those types of "Send message to" links. Since mailto: is a URL that is handled by browsers, it has a different set of rules to make it work.
