Question Zimbra Admin Page on FireFox 3.0 ?

Hi All,

Is anybody able to open the Zimbra Admin webpage in FireFox 3.0?
I can see that the certificate gets loaded. Please see the attached snapshot of what it looks like when the URL is typed in FF3.

I am able to open the same page absolutely fine in IE 6

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Anukul

See if you've got any installed add-in that might be causing the problem. Zimbra Admin and Web UI work fine with FF3.

Hi!
As suggested, I disabled all the add-ins on FF3, but there was no change. The page only loads as earlier mentioned.

On seeing the certificate, it says "Could not identify the certificate for unknown reasons"
I also don't see the certificate in the View Certificates under Advanced > Encryption in Options.

What could be the issue?

Thanks,
Anukul

I use the admin page with FF 3.0 with no problems. I can report no problem using FF 3.0 on openSuSE 10.3 and openSuSE 11.0. I have not tried it using FF 3.0 on Windows.

I would try and clear the cache on FF3 Or even hit Refresh a couple of times it will come up it just takes it a little bit we have been having some of the same issues on our system as well. So I would try and clear the Cache and see what happenes

Your profile has "ZCS 4.5 (Open Source) | OS version: Ubuntu 6.0.6"
The 'blank admin console' is a known issue with 4.5.x and FF3.
There's no more 4.5.x builds planned except for absolutely critical security issues, so I'm not sure there's much we can suggest besides looking into a 5.0.x series upgrade.

(I'm still not sure why you and keemat went with 4.5.x - it had sounded like you we're doing a brand new install for a convention or something. If there's no blocking reason, might be time to upgrade to 5.0.7)

Same problem here (under 4.5x still) We can't upgrade for a few months. In the mean time, IETab is the way to go for it.
