Default Double backups and completed with errors

    Ok I think I have 2 related problems. Here's a screenshot:

As you can see, I have multiple backups running, and many of them are failing. They currently write to a NAS (Buffalo Technology - Products - TeraStation Pro™ II Rackmount), on a gigabit switch.

We have 3 mailbox servers, each with similar problems. Have I set some option that is giving me trouble?

have you checked teh cron file for the zimbra user? It's possible you could have duplicate entries for zmbackup.

    Where is that file?

    Update:

Double like this? (found in /var/spool/cron/zimbra):
    0 1 * * 6 /opt/zimbra/bin/zmbackup -f -a all
    0 1 * * 0-5 /opt/zimbra/bin/zmbackup -i -a all

no thats fine. thats 2 different backup commands one to do the full one to do the incremental and they run at different times. What you want to make sure is that you don't have 2 zmbackup -f's in there somewhere that would cause it to run a backup twice

I don't see any place that calls up "zmbackup -f" twice.

Here's our Zimbra infrastructure. Each server has LDAP, MTA, and Mailbox:

zmail1 (ldap primary) - fresh install of 5.05, then upgraded to 5.06, then 5.07
zmail2 - fresh install of 5.06, then upgraded to 5.07
zmail3 - fresh install of 5.06, then upgraded to 5.07

Looking a bit further, I'm noticing that these problems started happening when I added that 3rd server into the mix.

They aren't backing up to the same place at the same time are they? Have you tried letting them backup locally for a day or two? I'd want to eliminate performance/connectivity issues first..

No, each server writes to a seperate NAS, although it is at the same time (1am).

I'll set the backup to save locally for now.

Hmm ok. I just wanted to eliminate that from the possibilities.. You probably could just offset them by a few hours. I would imagine you'd want to do that anyway. Do you get any emails in your admin@hostname inbox overnight when the backups fail?
