changes is not happening permanently in postfix main.cf files

am using zimbra 5.0.7 RHEL5 network version

After adding some network address in postfix main.cf file . i used postfix reload to apply the changes .

But surprisingly , my changes never taken .... Please solve this problem ..

Because of this reason am not able to accept mails from some networks ..please reply .. and help me

my changes in the main.cf file arent appended and it shows only the old network address when i use postfix reload or restart the zimbra services ..

You need to give a better description of what the original problem is, what steps (with exact commands and any errors) you've taken to try and fix the problem.

How about some errors or information from the log files?

Zimbra version = 5.0.7 RHEL5 version

In the postfix main.cf file

mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 X.X.X.X/X ---> i have added certain network.

The addition of X network is not present after , When i execute postfix reload or zmcontrol stop and start ..

At present i have used postconf -e 'mynetworks = x.x.x.x/x' to add my network ..
After some searching, i found that we need to add those network in
/opt/zimbra/conf/zmmta.cf .

Can i add this below line at the end of the file /opt/zimbra/conf/zmmta.cf

postconf -e 'mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 x.x.x.x/x'

Please suggest me ..
