Hello,
Just started playing with zimbra.. very nice.
I currently have Exchange 2000 and there is an option to allow only some specific users to write to certain other users or distribution lists.
is there any thing like this for zimbra ?
Thx!

In the Network edition there is delegated admin where you can create admins that only have access to user properties and distro lists.

Ex:
on one of my servers i have
user1@mycomp1.com
user2@mycomp1.com
user3@mycomp1.com
Distributionlist for user 1, 2 and 3@ mycomp1.com called allusers@mycomp1.com
On another server i have
user1@mycomp2.com
user2@mycomp2.com
user3@mycomp2.com
can i prevent the users @mycomp2.com to write to the allusers@mycomp1.com distribution list????
Actually i would like to prevent anyone that is not from @mycompany1.com to use the @mycompany1.com distribution lists.
There are no ACL's on the distribution lists. So that is not possible.
Thank you.
Is there a posibility to prevent specific domains (hotmail.com, gmail.com) to write at my users then ?
You could block that at the postfix level. See the postfix docs on how to restrict remote domain traffic.
