Default [SOLVED] Mailman migration issue

Hello all!

I've recently decided to migrate over to Zimbra but I am running into an issue with my mailman mailling lists.

I can receive and send mail fine through the web interface.

Assuming that the hostname of my machine is server.blah.com and I have a list of test@blah.com. Whenever I try to send to test@blah.com, in the mail queue it shows up as test@server.blah.com and it bounces.

I know I ran into something like this years ago but I can't remember what I did to fix it. I believe it's most like mailman making the domain/subdomain switch but I'm not 100% sure of that.

Thanks,

Doug

Welcome to the forums

Have you had a read of ZCS Mailman Integration - Zimbra :: Wiki ?

I was trying the doc at [SOLVED] Zimbra+Mailman Howto first but since it didn't work, I reluctantly tried ZCS Mailman Integration - Zimbra :: Wiki.

I say reluctantly because I hate the idea of running two machines for only a handful of lists.

Anyway, I believe there is a slight error in the Wiki page. I had to change the line that says:
zmprov ma LIST_NAME@EMAIL_DOMAIN zimbraMailTransport MAILMAN_HOSTNAME

to

zmprov ma LIST_NAME@EMAIL_DOMAIN zimbraMailTransport smtp:MAILMAN_HOSTNAME:25

otherwise the transport would fail.

Thanks,

Doug

Thanks Doug! I was tearing my hair out. I know this was many months ago, but the wiki still has the same error. Just confirming that the change works.

I've edited the wiki.
