Default Loggerd Causing High CPU and Memory

Hello,

I am running Zimbra Release 5.0.2_GA_1975.RHEL5_20080130221917 CentOS5 FOSS edition.

Server Config :
Processor : AuthenticAMD Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 1216,
cpu MHz 2412.402, cache size : 1024 KB, cpu cores : 2
RAM : 2 GB
Harddisk : 250 GB
Number of Email accounts : 350

When I start Zimbra with loggerd service enabled, the server Memory and CPU usage spikes up and server load reaches 20. If we stop the loggerd service it reduces below 1 .

I could see that the database for loggerd is over 4 GB in just 3 months of running Zimbra for our organization.

I would like to know if we have some tricks to reduce the High CPU and Memory Usage by loggerd process. The "raw_logs" table is one which takes more size in zimbra_logger database.

Regards
Sujith

Hello,

This didnt help. The tables were not corrupted and still the server load increases after starting the zmloggerd service.

Any other tweaks for this issue ?
