Default Setting InetOrgPerson attributes in Zimbra LDAP?

Is there any way to set an InetOrgPerson attribute (listed in /opt/zimbra/openldap/etc/openldap/schema/inetorgperson.schema) in a Zimbra account? In particular, I would like to set the employeeNumber to our institutional person identifier.

    Trying to use
    zmprov modifyaccount account@domain employeeNumber 012345
    gives the following error:
ERROR: service.INVALID_REQUEST (invalid request: LDAP schema violation: [LDAP: error code 65 - attribute 'employeeNumber' not allowed])

even though /opt/zimbra/openldap/etc/slapd.conf contains the following line:
    include "/opt/zimbra/openldap/etc/openldap/schema/inetorgperson.schema"

Can the command line ldapmodify be used to add/modify this attribute?

    Thanks,

    Barry

It actiually says in the wiki article that the inetorgperson.schema is included and so it is:

    Code:
    ls -l /opt/zimbra/openldap-2.4.20.4z/etc/openldap/schema
    total 1052

BTW, if you reall are running Zimbra 6.0.0 Beta2 then I'd suggest you upgrade to the current release. If you have updated then I'd suggest you refresh the information in your forum profile to reflect your currently installed version.

Yes I should, however I am pretty new to Zimbra and not aware (yet) how to do it and how stable that kind of update is

    Thanks for you time
    Christopher

ps: I am using Zimbra on Mandriva 2009.1 and not RedHat as in my profile (in fact the .rpm is compatible with Mandriva)
