Default TLS-Connection - Broken Pipe network_biopair_interop

Hi,

we have Zimbra 5.0.2 NE -Edition 64bit running on Redhat 5 EE.

We have installed a Thawte SSL-certificate. When a customer sends e-mail to us, via TLS, the following error occured:

Jun 18 04:16:10 mail postfix/smtpd[10044]: connect from mailix.xxx.xxx[212.202.xxx.xxx]
Jun 18 04:16:10 mail postfix/smtpd[10044]: setting up TLS connection from mailix.xxx.xxx[212.202.xxx.xxx]
Jun 18 04:16:10 mail postfix/smtpd[10044]: warning: network_biopair_interop: error writing 8192 bytes to the network: Broken pipe
Jun 18 04:16:10 mail postfix/smtpd[10044]: SSL_accept error from mailix.xxx.xxx[212.202.xxx.xxx]: -1
Jun 18 04:16:10 mail postfix/smtpd[10044]: lost connection after STARTTLS from mailix.xxx.xxx[212.202.xxx.xxx]
Jun 18 04:16:10 mail postfix/smtpd[10044]: disconnect from mailix.xxx.xxx[212.202.xxx.xxx]

The problem is not only 1 customer, all TLS-E-Mails run into the same problem.

Who can help me? Anybody has some advice for me?

Martin

Default same issue here

We are network edition and working with support on this problem, to no avail so far. Was it ever resolved for you? Here is another related thread with more information:

Default solved

Ours was solved by obtaining the official root CA from Thawte instead of pointing to one in the curl-bundle. Doing that caused a problem when writing the certificate for the MTA. Once we started over with our cert from Thawte, their official root cert (which they will paste to you right in a support chat) and our key, we were good to go after redeploying the cert.
