update calendar help

Hello,

I am looking for docs/papers/examples etc to - from a linux shell - to insert/modify/delete entries from a user's calendar.

Either I'm search lame or I haven't found anything in the forums / wiki except a thread using curl. But it's a year old.

We are using Zimbra 5.06 / fc7

I use curl to add calendar and contact entries. There's info on the REST interface here: User Migration - Zimbra :: Wiki

And you need to have a login that has access to add. I share my users to the admin account, and use its credentials.

For deleting, I don't know if that can be done over REST, but you can use zmprov / zmmailbox to do things like that. Possibly even over SOAP.

Thanks for the link, I'll look into this.

The only thing I would to touch is the calendar. Are there any links to the SOAP interface used by zimbra ?
