Default users on separate servers can't see Free/busy schedule

    Hi Folks,

We've a multi-server environment (only 1 domain) and the users on server A can't see Free/Busy schedule of users on either server B or server C.

User X can only see F/B schedule of other users if those users happen to be on the same server as user X is.

Look forward to a quick response please.

    Ciao.

    Hey lkj,
What version are you running? (5.0.0_GA_1869.RHEL4_64 NE is listed in your profile but from another thread I know you're at least running 5.0.2).

Start the AJAX web-client with ?dev=1 appended on the end, then look at the soap request/response (it can take a while to load just be patient). Web Client URL Tricks - Zimbra :: Wiki

We are now on 5.0.4 NE RHEL-64. Does that give you enough info to answer our question?

    Look forward to your response.

edit: are they able to view the calendars if htey have them linked as a shared calendar? If not maybe problem below is cause

wasn't there a bug in 5.0.4 that broke sharing across mailbox servers? I remember having this problem with a shared e-mail folder. A user on the same mailbox server could see it but a user on another mailbox server couldn't. if you migrated the user who couldn't to the same server then it worked. you may want to try this as a test, if this turns out to be the case you may want to look at upgrading to 5.0.6, which you mihgt want to look at anyway

the calendars are "linked" shared calendars but can't see F/B schedule across the 3 servers; can see only if the (shared) calendars are on the same server. Can you please point out to this particular bug?

    Thx.

no for the life of me i can't find the bug. i know i even commented on it though but can't search bugzilla by bugs i've commented on.

are you adversed to upgrading to 5.0.6 to see if that fixes it?
