[SOLVED] search in subfolders too

it seems so simple but I cannot find anything about it,

How could I let the search recurse through subfolders too, be it in ZWC or with a zmmailbox search?

So say I have the folders A, B and C under my inbox, the search string would be "in:inbox content:mystring*". But it does not search through the subfolders of inbox.

Isn't a recursive search possible?

Not right now. Please vote for Bug 14781 - Search by folder should optionally include subfolders if you'd like to see this feature in the product!

just for the reference,
It is a bit hidden, at least from me and only a workaround but you can search through all local or shared folders (and their subfolders) with the "is:local" or "is:remote" search parameter.
local for your whole mailbox and remote for shared folders.
