Default Punctuation Issues - Standard Interface

Hi all

One of my customers who makes a lot of use of the standard client rather then the advanced reported an issue with attachments with punctuation marks in their names. Every time we upload an attachment with a name, say, "ação.doc" (ação is portuguese for action), both the "ç" and the "ã" are substituted by "?" signs...this happens only while using the standard interface. AJAX´s just fine. No, it´s not an option to switch to Advanced. We have a bunch of older clients here...

I saw there are some bugs filled about some very similar problems, but i´m afraid they´ll lack the necessary voting to go ahead.

We´ve been able to reproduce the error on Zimbra version 5.0.2, 5.03, 5.05 and 5.06

Any tips? Words from Zimbra?
