Default Per Domain external MTA relay

Hi,
Is is possible to have internet bound email from Zimbra routed to a specified MTA Relay / Smart Host on a per domain basis?

Example:

- All outbound emails from @domainA.com get routed via mx1.domainA.com
- All outbound emails from @domainB.com get routed via mx2.domainB.com

Thanks,

BQ

I dont think you can do this with Zimbra, but you can
make custom modifications to Postfix that do that, check postfix
documentation

I presume any modification I make to Postfix would "void warranty" from Zimbra? And more than likely get lost / overwritten by any upgrades?

Don't know if it's an option for you but I have Zimbra send everything to Exim for external delivery and that does per domain smtp delivery very easily. It can be done on the same machine as the zimbra server or it's a bit easier if you have another smtp/exim server that you can route through.

Not sure about the warranty, but yes you need to backup before upgrade

No never got an offical Zimbra method, we worked around it by using something similiar to what Mike Scholes said above.

Did you ever file an RFE for it? If not, please feel free to do so.
