Thanks for the blessing. I am new to Zimbra and havent' even backed up yet so i'm very hesitant to try my hand at even a minor upgrade. I don't know enough about jetty to know why it's not using the "both" option i'm using in the correct file. I don't see anything running on 443 with netstat and i have tried 4433 as my port in web.xml and restarted zmmailboxd and still no go, so i know it's not a port conflict. Can I turn up the debug level or something? I don't see where i would do that.

**edit**

When the command is run i get this in my /var/log/messages

Jun 13 13:49:31 mail zimbramon[5536]: 5536:info: zmmtaconfig: Sleeping...Key lookup failed.
Jun 13 13:49:46 mail zimbramon[5536]: 5536:info: zmmtaconfig: Skipping Configuration for server xx.xx.xx No data returned.

I also updated the SSL cert to a paid cert. I didn't try changing the mode until that was done.
