Exchange 2000 Migration

I tried searching this topic, but couldn't find this particular question.

The exchange migration utilities says:

Accounts from Exchange 2002, 2003, and 5.5 can be migrated.

What about Exchange 2000?

I need to migrate our mailboxes off of exchange (we are nearly at the 16GB filesize limit), and am trying to evaluate the various methods at my disposal.
My other options are PST imports and imapsync if the migration utility doesn't work for Exchange 2000.

Is this correct?

It should read

"Accounts from Exchange 2000, 2003, and 5.5 can be migrated."
