Default More shared calendar issues

1) How can I create a new calendar which is used to synchronize appointments from a remote calendar which requires authentication (user name and password)?

2) I simply could not share my calendar to an external viewer - the "OK" button is not clickable!! after my entering external email address and password.

My company runs two ZCS edtions - NE and Open Source 5.0.5.

Thanks!!

Re #1:
If it supports simple auth, then you can pass it through the url:

is
Code:
http://username:password@domain.com/calendar.ics

Is this still the current status of the support for authentication? I'm not so comfortable with having my username and password be visible when clicking edit on the remote calendar in zimbra. Could that information be hidden at least? Should I create a new bug? I think it's a security bug and not an RFE actually.

Sincerely
Kallisti

You're not meant to enter "your" password, you make one up for the contact you're sharing with.

As for sharing between systems I've created this bug/rfe Bug 39132 – Share calendar with authentication to other Zimbra systems
