Default Sharing private appointments

Hi all,

I'm looking for a solution to the following situation:
User A's calendar contains both private and public events, and a group of users G has view permissions for this calendar. Members of G are not supposed to see the details of A's private appointments, just the fact that there is an appointment - this is working fine so far.
However, there's a privileged user B who should be able to see the details of all of A's appointments, including the private ones.

So far I've been unable to find a way to accomplish this - any suggestions?

Vote for / support ticket tag / cc watch this RFE: Bug 27722 - Ability for a Delegated Administrator to be able to create, edit or delete all private appointment (setting so delegate x can see private appts)

There was also Bug 25224 - Delegatees should not be able to create/view private events on shared calendars fixed in 5.0.6.

5.0.6 is out!
