Default RemoteManager Error on Zimbra Admin Console since upgrading to 5.0.5

    Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for some help with a problem I'm having on my Zimbra Admin website installation since upgrading to 5.0.5. (note this may have been present in 5.0.4 and I just noticed it now)

    Here are the repro steps:

    1) Log into Administrator Console
    2) Click the arrow down on "Certificates"
    3) Click on "someserver.com" under "Certificates"

At this point I get the following error message in a message box on screen:
"Server error encountered Message: system failure: exception during auth {RemoteManager: someserver.com->zimbra@someserver.com:22} Error code: service.FAILURE Method: GetCertRequest Details:soap:Receiver"

Now, I have checked the zimbra log (specifically /var/log/zimbra.log) and no error message is recorded there.

I am running a single-server installation on Fedora Core 7.

Can anyone provide some insight into what the source of the problem is and how I can possibly fix it? Among other things, this error is preventing me from installing certs.

    Thanks for your help.

Assuming you're using the standard ssh port:
    1. Check /etc/sshd_config and be sure it's set to 22
    2. stop/start/restart sshd
    Code:
    /etc/init.d/ssh restart
    3. su - zimbra
    4. Be sure zimbra's ssh port is set to 22
    Code:
    zmprov ms server.domain.com zimbraRemoteManagementPort 22
    5. Generate new ssh keys
    Code:
    cd /opt/zimbra/bin/
    ./zmsshkeygen
    6. Deploy the keys
    Code:
    ./zmupdateauthkeys
To test this, you can run the following command:
    ssh -vi .ssh/zimbra_identity -o strictHostKeyChecking=no zimbra@server.domain.com -p 22
-Shouldn't prompt you for a password at this point...then check the admin console mail queues area/servers/certificates.
If you continue to get that error please see this doc for some more ideas Mail Queue Monitoring - Zimbra :: Wiki
