I was able to restart the server (zmcontrol stop && zmcontrol start). The problem disappeared after that. I'd be interested in root cause theories. Is anyone else seeing this?

Thanks in advance,

I was led to believe this would be fixed in the last two versions, but I'm still getting it on Version 6.0.2_GA_1912.RHEL5.NETWORK 20 Oct, 2009..

Since my last entry (#11) I've tested vanilla installs of CentOS 5.4 with ZCS/OSE (5.0.20_GA_3127.RHEL5_64_20091102122116). All errors in the #11 post are present after install. After limited testing this does not appear to affect the functionality of ZCS in any way.

Either the installer should be modified to set the correct permissions on these files or (if it truely does not matter) these errors should not be sent to the logs. Opting for the former, of course.

Thanks in advance,
todd_dsm
