IMAP Problems

I'm currently running Zimbra Network Edition 5.0.4 on Ubuntu 6.06 and the last two days, I have been unable to check my email via IMAP. It seems to only affect certain accounts, and it is cleared up, at least temporarily, by running 'zmmailboxdctl restart'. I'd like to find out what's causing this so I can prevent it from happening.

Could you check your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki for any error messages please. Have you attempted to re-index the mailboxes that are having problems ? This can be performed from the Admin GUI->Accounts->Edit Account->Re-Index Mailbox

I've checked the mailbox.log and it shows no errors, and I've also tried re-indexing and it made no difference.

Define "unable to." Errors? Timeouts? Authentication denied? Can you make a connection manually with openssl s_client -connect mail.example.com:993?

I'm having an issue with connecting via imap since I upgraded from 5.0.2 to 5.0.5.

The imap client on my phone stopped working and all the users with Blackberry imap accounts cannot connect.

The web based ajax client and Outlook connector are unaffected. I don't see anything in the Zimbra logs.

I use a godaddy certificate. I switched from redirect back to mixed on the requirement for SSL. I believe we're talking about port 993, I haven't changed default ports. My certificate looks like the correct one in view certificates in the admin gui.

The log on the imap client on my phone says,
Failed to establish SSL connection.
Failed to connect to mail.domain.com (that's the address to my server).

Let's start with the basics - what's your output of:
zmprov gs server.domain.com | grep Imap

zimbraServiceEnabled: imapproxy
zimbraServiceInstalled: imapproxy

Shoulda had more than that - do this instead:
zmprov gs server.domain.com | grep BindPort

But that is good info - I wanted to know if you we're a single server or mult-server/using imapproxy anyways
