After the 5.05 update, users with the AJAX Client can only see emails as text (even though the display mail is set as "html"). With the standard html client, we are able to view html emails. Any suggestions?

This is probably Bug 26432 - When Searching, first result is always displayed as text and not rich text, fixed in 5.0.6.
I have the same problem ... Users are really angry. Can you tell us when 5.0.6 will be released ?

HTML is more likely to present when View pane is off. It rarely presents when it is on.
