1. zmcontrol stop
2. lsof | grep TCP
3. does not show anything

Looking good so far - no zombie threads. Try running zmcontrol start again and see what happens.

Continued equal. It does not work !!!

[zimbra@srv1 conf]$ lsof | grep TCP
[zimbra@srv1 conf]$
[zimbra@srv1 conf]$ zmcontrol start
Host srv1.zmail.pt
Starting mailbox...Done.
Starting imapproxy...Done.
Starting snmp...Done.
Starting spell...Done.
Starting stats...Done.
[zimbra@srv1 conf]$ zmcontrol status
Host srv1.zmail.pt
imapproxy Running
mailbox Stopped
zmmailboxdctl is not running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running
[zimbra@srv1 conf]$
