Hello, i just deleted an E-Mail Account in Zimbra 5.0 Network Edition.
i saved the .pst from Outlok 2003 before(IMAP Account).
Can I restore the Acount somehow?
Or can i just create a new one with similar setings an sync all data from outlook/pst to the Zimbra IMAP-Account?
Would be very glad toget some help

The best way would be to restore it from the backup/restore feature in the admin web interface (or CLI).
Recreating the account and uploading the PST data will not restore everything: as you were using IMAP (not the ZCO), I guess you won't get calendar/address book back.

After deleting the Account i ceated a new one with the same name, in order to provide Sevice o the User.
As far as i understand, i can use the zmrestore to restore Accounts.
But is it then the right Account, coz i have created a new one after deleting as i mentioned above.
Or can i give a time-parameter within the zmrestore, to determine the exact Backuparchive?
Do i ned to restore LDAP as well?
What would you do?
I tried it over the Admin Ui, and after pressing the "restore" buton, zimbra gives me an errormessage:
service.INVALID_REQUEST Mail: invalid request: createAccount invalid schema change: [LDAP: error code 65 - object class 'sambaSamAccount' requires attribute 'sambaSID'] Details:soap:Sender
We had installed Samba Addon its something with it, but what?

This indicates that the account that you are trying to restore was created before you integrated ZCS with Samba. A workaround that you can do is:Quote:

This issue probably deserves to be files as an enhancement request. One solutions would be to add a utility that would add samba LDAP fields to all accounts created prior to integration
