Default Upgrading to 5.x... and on raid 5 now...

I want to upgrade to 5.x NE but I'm on raid 5 right now. I may opt to migrate to raid 10 but I may not have time / patience to do so. Has anyone upgraded to 5.x that is on raid 5. I understand that raid 5 is not optimal.

No reason why you cannot upgrade to ZCS 5.0.5 if you are on RAID5. The underlying disk structure makes no difference to ZCS apart from performance. You would definitely benefit from RAID10 as you will get faster disk writes, which obviously a mail system would require. RAID5 will provide faster reads due to striping.
