OK, we use 5.0.4 OSS on SLES10 SP1. We have spent some time getting eDiretory and zimbra running on the same server. We have this working now with multiple NIC's with different IP's on these NIC's. The problem is when the server reboots, zimbra's LDAP (389, slapd) will bind to ALL addresses (0.0.0.0). So this causes a problem for eDirectory's cleartext port, 389. I then have to shutdown zimbra and eDirectory, then start eDirectory then zimbra and all is well, until the next reboot. So, my question is, is it possible to have zimbra's LDAP (389) bind to a specified IP? I have followed [SOLVED] Howto: Bind to one specific IP / Listen to one IP
Make jetty bind to a specific ip
In the same way that the first link had you use a LDAP browser to bind certain things. I do not see a zimbraLDAPbindaddress in there.
