Server Stats Cont...

Hello,

I have searched extensively in these forums and they have proved a fantasitic resource. Good work everyone.

The server is running SuSE 9, 1 Gig RAM, Dual RAID SATA 80 gig drives, and Version 3.0.0_GA_156.SuSEES9.

I have all server processes running and can successfully send and recieve emails. I have been unable to locate anything on this specific issue. I am working on the Server Status and Statistics section - specifically using this thread - No data in server statistics

Here is the error i am getting in both /opt/zimbra/bin/zmlogprocess and /tmp/logprocess.out

Not sure how this happened - but it looks like zimbraLogSummaryLifetime is not set:

zmprov mcf zimbraLogSummaryLifetime 731

I applied the command as zimbra. I then did a zmcontrol stop and start. I looked at both /opt/zimbra/bin/zmlogprocess and /tmp/logprocess.out and they still have the error. In addition, i now have the following.

looks like swatch isn't starting.

zmcontrol stop
ps auxww | grep zimbra
kill any swatch processes (or any tail -f /var/log/zimbra.log processes) and restart.

The issue of the logger and snmp not starting is due to the fact that the permissions on the zimbra.log file reverted to root for some reason. chown to zimbra fixed that up. Now i'm back to the original post issue. Run /opt/zimbra/bin/zmlogprocess and i get:

What does that return?

Mmm. Try changing that config value from 731 to 731d (my mistake) - and see if that fixes it.
