question about the new calendar reminders

So 5.0.5 has per event reminders now which is great, but I can't seem to find a way to set a reminder for an event for which I am not the originator. That means that if I accept a meeting request, I can't set a reminder for it which is not good. Am I missing something here?

I have the same question. Is there a way for to set a personal reminder for accepted invites? If not, there should be. I can't find any bugs or RFEs for it, so I guess I'll go ahead and submit one...
