Hi guys, i'm using this wiki Performance Tuning Guidelines for Large Deployments - Zimbra :: Wiki to make some tune settings on my server, i got to this part :
Increase maximum open file descriptors
For high load conditions, the default limit of 1024 file descriptors is insufficient. We recommend that the following two lines be added to /etc/security/limits.conf on all servers configured with ZCS software to increase the limit.
zimbra soft nofile 10000
zimbra hard nofile 10000
but i found oit that in my server this parameters are like this:
zimbra soft nofile 524288
zimbra hard nofile 524288
wich is a bigger value than the recomended, is this ok? i got a zimbra 5.0.4 on a suse enterprise 10.1, thanks any help
I got another question about the same document, i'm checking all the ports conficts and all is ok, but i got nothing listening on 7047 wich is convertd service, is this ok i check this by a netstat -nat | grep 7047 thanks any help
