Welcome to the forums

We require additional information to help isolate the problem. Are there any error messages in your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki ?

Is the server just hanging at the moment ? What does the command
Code:
dmesg
report ?

So what happens when you do :-

Code:
su - zimbra
zmmtactl start
? Then check zimbra.log for any errors.

What O/S version are you running ? You could try commenting the swap line out of /etc/fstab and rebooting the server. The start up Zimbra. If that works it could be a corrupt swap partition. From a quick search quite a few people have had this happen recently on Fedora, nothing Zimbra related, just the same O/S symptoms.

Excuse me, I have realized what you say but appears again enabling /etc/fstab swap.

/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol02 /home ext3 defaults 1 2
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 /var ext3 defaults 1 2
#LABEL=SWAP-sda2 swap swap defaults 0 0

I tried commenting on the line but nothing.
The SO which use is CENTOS 5
