Newsletters and Mailing Lists

I can't seem to find any mention of how Zimbra handles mass mailings. Specifically I have an HR department that wants to send out internal newsletters as well as my marketing department that wants to send out multiple external newsletters.

How would Zimbra handle this or would I need to run a 3rd party app like Majordomo or MailMan?

I was hoping that Zimbra had something a bit more robust that just an address list. Mailman works, but it is so old tech these days.
