Toaster - automating install?

We're installing Toaster on everyone's desktops. I'd like to make this as easy as possible... configure it without user interaction or having to walk to everyone's desk to do it. So I just have a couple questions for the knowledgeable.

Creating the ztoastcfg.xml is a problem, since I don't know how to hash the password. I'd prefer a mechanism I can use in Linux, but if not I can give it to the Windows guy and let him figure it out.

Knowing the reg key for the mailto: would be handy too, but I can probably figure that out without too much trouble.
