Possible port issue.

Hi,

I'm running 5.0.2 with RHEL5 and I'm having some issues with ports. I'm not sure if it's a Zimbra issue or Linux issue. Mail is not being sent and recieved with the following ports open on our Sonicwall:

80
443
220
143
389
1433
110
25
53
138
636
7071
7047
7306 - 7307
7780
10024 - 10025
22
514

Out of frustration on Friday I opened ports 1-9999 and email is sent and recieved just fine. I'd like to have the least amount of ports open, but am I missing something? We're only using the web client also.

Try opening port 7025

I now have another issue regarding the ports. I doubt this is a Zimbra issue but more of a Sonicwall issue. I am wondering if anyone has seen this.

My email server works fine for maybe 20 minutes or so then completely stops sending/receiving mail. If I log into my firewall and disable a port (usually 8080 is what I choose) and re-enable it the Email server is up for another 20 minutes or so.

When I run postqueue -p when the mail server is not working all of the emails say connection timed out. Then I close and open a port and it works again.
