Does Zimbra have enterprise search?

Does Zimbra have an enterprise search product? How does it compare with Microsoft's enterprise search offerings (enterprise search within SharePoint and the new Search Server 2008 Express)? Thanks!

Zimbra is a messaging and collaboration tool. What are you looking to have indexed ? Sharepoint is a portal so has the potential to store multiple types of documents.

Thanks for the explanation. To clarify, what I'm looking to do is to find if Zimbra has the ability to search non-email, non-calendar documents documents on our intranet or network drives. Can this be done?

I do not believe so but you could write a Zimlet to hook into another indexing system ? would be a nice little project

I'm not sure if the newer versions of IE still allow this, but linking to filesystems from web pages is a severe security violation, and Firefox won't allow you to do that. If ZCS (or a zimlet) were to index filesystems, you would not want it to try to provide direct links to them.
